For many of us that are on a journey to become a content creator, we struggle at the beginning. In my experience as a kid born in the 90s; content creators were people that worked for magazines, television, and giant advertising companies. I went to uni for business, I wasn’t thinking about creating an uplifting blog and saying “hell no” to the corporate world.
This post is for all of the start-up influencers around me. Whether you are a YouTuber, blogger, recording artist, and any other form of freelancer…FIND YOUR NICHE!
It’s okay to not know what you want to do at first. It’s also okay to eventually stumble into something else and branch off. When you figure it out, step into your niche wholeheartedly. If you have a goal to make it in your niche and you don’t know where to begin, go to google and search for people that are doing exactly what you want to be doing. Go to youtube and find videos about the topics that you’re interested in and ask questions like “How can I…”
Just start somewhere! You’ll thank yourself in the long run.
The image above is from the morning that I finally had a spike in my Google Analytics. At this moment I realized that I was making an impact and I chose the right niche for me.
Keep moving forward!
